RALLYTECHNOLOGY PREPARES FOR A RALLY MARATHON

After a long winter break, time has come to come back to competing in rallies. Rallytechnology team will start the season with a start in Valasska Rally, represented by Tomasz Gryc with Michał Kuśnierz and Robert Mąsior with Łukasz Bobrowski (Peugeot 208 R2). After the first round of Czech Rally Championship there will be little time for rest as already a week later Łukasz Habaj with Daniel Dymurski (Ford Fiesta R5) will start in the opening round of Europe Championship – The Rallye Açores.

The Gryc / Kuśnierz crew will this year aim to defend their title of 2nd Runner-Up Polish Champions in single axle class, the title they won last year. To achieve this, Tomek and Michał are going to start in all rounds of the Polish championship. There is almost a month left before Polish Rally Championship starts therefore our crew is going to participate in Valasska Rally to train there. This rally is back to the Czech Championship calendar after a five years’ break. For Tomek Gryc this is going to be the first start in this rally, although he did already start for training at other events on our southern neighbors’ territory. Robert Mąsior with his co-driver Łukasz Bobrowski is going to debut on these Czech special sections. For this crew this is going to be the first start abroad, so certainly an interesting experience which for sure will profit in the future.

After the Czech rally Rallytechnology team will move over to the Atlantic Ocean, the Azores specifically, where Europe Championships start. Łukasz Habaj is to debut on gravel tracks of these volcanic Islands. The new special sections will not be the only new thing for him. Daniel Dymurski, who won the ERC 2 category on the Azores last year, is going to take a place on his right-hand side. In this season, Europe Championship is going to be a high priority for the Habaj / Dymurski crew, although these competitors do not exlude the possibility of starting in other cycles and not only with Ford Fiesta R5.

Robert Gabryszewski, Rallytechnology team manager: For the rally fans the interseasonal break is always way too long therefore we cannot wait to see the upcoming challenges, and there is a lot to come! We start this coming weekend with Valasska, where Tomek and Michał will start. This rally will be a good training for them before the coming Polish Championship, where they will be defending their title. Robert Mąsior and Łukasz Bobrowski are going to make their first steps abroad. I hope they learn a lot and enjoy a good result at the finish line. Just a week later we will be on Azores, which is going to be a great logistic challenge for the team. Łukasz and Daniel are going to practise as a crew, they will also fight for their first points in European Championships, that is their highest priority this year. We are looking at a long season full of emptions and incredible challenges ahead of us. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Valasska Rally takes place 24th-26th March. The track features 12 special sections with a total length of over 150 kilometers. In class six, in which będzie Tomasz Gryc with Michał Kuśnierz and Robert Mąsior with Łukasz Bobrowski compete, there are as many as sixteen crews registered. The participants will have to complete sixteen special sections, with a total of 210 kilometers. The Habaj / Dymurski crew is going to compete against drivers such as Aleksiej Łukjaniuk, Kajetan Kajetanowicz or Ralfs Sirmacis.
